UNION OF BULGARIAN MILLERS

The Union of Bulgarian Millers (UBM) was established by the initiative of Chamber if Commerce and Industry in Varna town, the first Congress was held from 17 to 23 February 1906, and a Miller Board was elected.

In 1991 the Union has renewed its activity according Decision No1 of 13.05.1991 of the Sofia City Court.  A non-profit legal entity, Union of Bulgarian Millers, was registered.

The objective of the Union is to serve to the specialists working in the milling industry in Bulgaria, to make unity in their aspirations and to work for recognition by the society and the state as representative of this society of specialists.

UNION OF BULGARIAN MILLERS is member of EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF FLOURMILLERS, ЕAF

UBM has developed Handbooks  for the implementation of Good Management Practices and  HACCP system, Approved Standard Bulgaria for flour as well
